This LaidOffCamp SF is such a great idea, and if anyone steps up to take the lead on organizing one in Seattle, I’ll definitely help out. Is there a Chris Hutchins in our midst?
I’m even hoping to be in the Bay Area in March to check it out, and possibly help, if I can swing it. So far, according to the wiki that’s up, sessions are likely to be on:
- Living on a budget
- Building your personal brand
- Finding a job / work in this market
- How to freelance / be a consultant
- Finding co-founders
I completely support the notion that when people come together in this way, the by-products can often include new starts for individuals as well as new businesses. So inspiring!
